About TimScripts
TimScripts is an entity run by me, Tim Marro, that currently writes code for a variety of purposes and platforms. Currently, Python and mIRC are the active languages being used. The main product of TimScripts is Infinity Bot, the most powerful IRC channel bot ever, written in mIRC.
In addition, many new technologies are being actively developed.
What could quite possibly become the flagship product is wpIRC, an IRC client written for Windows Phone 7. Due to technical limitations of the device, creating an IRC client for it is essentially impossible. However, using an easy to configure specialized BNC, creating an IRC client for it becomes possible.
dotnetIRC is another exciting piece of work being developed. Compared to other IRC libraries for .NET, dotnetIRC is a powerful competitor seeking to stand out over a small number of competitors. In addition, this is the only library of its kind written in VB.NET. Although VB.NET is largely considered less powerful, a statement I largely agree with, the language is easily capable of keeping up with its cousins, such as C#.
BC2RCON.NET is another .NET library under development. This library allows .NET applications to use Battlefield: Bad Company 2's RCON interface.
Finally, I'm constantly developing smaller projects and scripts. Many of these don't make it on the site and are only found on sites like mIRCScripts.org or irc.nite-serv.com. Although small and semi-secret, these are definitely worth looking out for. Notably, my JSON Script is a script that allows mIRC to parse JSON. It can automatically read from websites without the use of mIRC sockets. This small script allowed for the fastest and smallest Google, YouTube, and Google Translate scripts to be created and used in Infinity.
